On behalf of our client, DEKRA is looking for:
- Finance and Payroll Assistant
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide general administrative assistance to the finance team, including maintaining accurate financial records and filing;
- Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll (calculating overtime, salary increases and shift payments, processing holiday, sick and maternity pay);
- Ensure accurate entry and updating of employee information, including pay rates, hours worked, and deductions;
- Preparation of invoices, track payments, and help resolve discrepancies;
- Assist in reconciling payroll and financial accounts, ensuring data accuracy;
- Help ensure that payroll processes comply with tax, pension, and legal regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in payroll administration or a similar finance-related role;
- Understanding of payroll systems and basic financial principles;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and financial tasks;
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
