HEAD OF OCEAN FREIGHT

World Transport Overseas, one of the fastest growing logistics companies in Eastern Europe with own subsidiaries in Bulgaria, China, Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia is expanding in North Macedonia. On behalf of our client, DEKRA is looking for:

• HEAD OF OCEAN FREIGHT

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Managing and coordination of employees in the department;
• Coordination of all day-to-day operations within the department to ensure that the services being provided are organized and in accordance to the local legislation;
• Liaising with Customs, Port Authorities and Shipping Lines;
• Develop a strong understanding of the business of Critical customers; Ensure delivery of future profitable business growth;
• Research for new opportunities, securing and growing new business locally.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Extensive experience in ocean freight management;
• Through knowledge and understanding of ocean import environment;
• Strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Leadership and supervisory skills.

PROFESIONAL KNOWLEDE AND SKILLS

• Ability to help organize workflow, build relevant skills and provide employee feedback;
• Effective interpersonal skills, proven abilities to effectively communicate;
• Excellent communication skills.
