Production Director

On behalf of our client Zito Luks,  leader in the milling and bakery industry, specialized in production of flour, bread, confectionery and baked products, DEKRA is looking for:

• Production Director

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Fosters and maintains a culture of continuous improvement across all production activities for all Zito Luks plants. Drives processes improvement that result in significant operational efficiencies and coordinates work to ensure best practices are coming in and implemented across teams and functions;
• Collaborates with external and internal partners to ensure plant operational compliance with all local, and state laws, regulations related to the plants, as recommended by the Company and other regulatory standards;
• Plans and implements capital and other major expenses investment for the purchase, repair or replacement of facilities and equipment to improve quality, productivity and ensure safe and efficient operations within Company strategic decisions;
• Remains constantly well informed on state of the art technological developments and their applications in the food production activity; brings the experience and expertise for the installation of new production units or modernization of an existing one;
• Identifies, evaluates and presents to Management potential opportunities and implications of implementing (or not implementing) proposed projects. Participates in the elaboration of feasibility studies in order to assess the financial impact of the implementation of projects and the resources required to implement them;
• Works closely with Plants Management teams to ensure impeccable daily operations;
• Manages, motivates and develops existing teams and talent within the manufacturing organization;
• Works closely with other departments to maintain labor peace and good working environment in pursue of building and maintaining employee engagement;
• Develops, monitors and meets Budget and KPI standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University Degree engineering preferably;
• More than 5 years’ experience in managing;
• Ability to identify and overcome strategic and operational challenges; complete key analysis and generate executive-level insights and recommendations.
